Screw compressor units, primarily built with Mayekawa, Howden compressors, are used worldwide for all industrial refrigeration applications, especially where high efficiency and consistent reliability are required. The capacity of the units can reach up to 14000 m3/h and a maximum operating discharge pressure of 24 barg.

The main advantages of screw units are:

• Minimal size compared to capacity
• Minimal weight compared to capacity
• No suction or discharge valves
• Able to operate with all refrigerants
• Linear capacity adjustment from 10 to 100%
